Zena was born in 1973, the daughter of an airline pilot. During an Egyptian diving holiday at the age of 18 she was charmed by the magic of the underwater world. She spent much time diving and improving her skill level and in 1997 got her first job with a commission from Faberge. Since then she has completed many different commercial assignments and has won awards for her talents, both as a photographer and also for her directorial skills.
It is quite amazing how she can take a photograph of a subject underwater, combine it with a number of other underwater effects and do it so seamlessly. It must take hours of work, both in the field and in the photo lab, to get it "just right".
