This is another national park and reserve in north east Botswana.
Again, it's away from the "delta" and much more arid. It lies on the north eastern edge of the Kalahari desert and the heat can be absolutely oppressive during the day. Luckily enough, it cools down nicely at night, great for sleeping.
The camp we were at for this visit has the notoriety of being featured in a number of BBC wildlife specials and National Geographic specials as well, mainly concentrating on the Lion prides here. They specialize in taking elephants as prey.
