Every February there is a Parade of the Sun (parada del Sol). Every one who has an interest in any way with things in Scottsdale turn out - the riding clubs, the motorcycle clubs, all the various police forces, all the schools have their marching bands, the list goes on. The Mexicanos brought their “dancing” horses, the sports groups and Mariachis came as well. The parade took over one and and a half hours and it was followed by entertainment of all sorts in the “old town” of Scottsdale. Great fun, good food, and a day well spent.
