We visited friends in Agassiz in mid July. Was very warm and we decided it would be a good day for a walk in the bush .... so qe went into the hills and hiked the Nicola Valley trail so we could see the train tunnels from long ago.
It turned out to be a real climb, most of it uphill and steep hills at that. After nearly 2 hrs we finally reached the summit and started down. The rest was easy, the tunnels quite large and the surrounding scenery spectacular. Well worth the climb.
